One of the most extensive private properties on the Amalfi Coast, Maiori Terraces incorporates a unique group of private villas nestled among lush Mediterranean vegetation and lemon trees, hidden away from the traffic and noise of the surrounding towns and overlooking the extraordinary Amalfi coast seaside on a cliff.

Maiori Terraces features a panoramic swimming pool and is composed of an ancient tower used as a living room, terrace and kitchen area for the six different cottages around. Three cottages are spread around the estate nearby to each other, romantically secluded from the rest of the buildings. The estate includes a vegetable garden and a small animal farm that will delight children.

The home design has been researched in the historical context, resulting in stone, old terracotta floors and concrete, quality custom-made boards and furnishing. Stone walls and concrete vaults lend a contemporary feel to the interiors. The houses have been constructed out of local stone, with an eco-friendly and nature-immersive approach, connecting the buildings to the surrounding landscape. The current owners have restored the estate to its original layout, using only local materials, and a palette of colours to contrast and match the sea. An ancient tower has been remodelled into a relaxed contemporary living space, full of natural, delicate light and a welcoming vibe.

In total there are 11 bedrooms decorated in elegant style with relaxing white walls, contemporary fabrics, and bespoke furnishing. With 35,000 square meters of private grounds, gardens and orchard the property sleeps 22 and is perfect for 10 adults and 12 children.

The property features covered parking at the entrance for 7 cars of mid-size, between 200 metres to 1 km to the farthest building in the estate (including a villa and several cottages, in completely separated areas). Porter service is available from the reception at the main gate entrance on arrival and departure and includes one bag per person, (extra bags can be carried at extra cost).

Although the area’s architecture is naturally challenging, this property is quite fit for the elderly as it features two electric cars to move inside the property and the cottages offer a suitable solution for bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. Although there are many steps around the property they are not challenging but this property is not a suitable solution for wheelchairs.
