The cliffside restaurant overlooking the Blue Grotto is a treasure trove of flavours for connoisseurs of seafood. Under a thatch roof the smart beach club atmosphere provides panoramic views and features azure blue tables, a series of sun decks with white cabanas and a stone staircase leading down to the sea.

On the menu resident chef Salvatore Elefante has created a sublime gastronomic experience, starting with the Plateau Royal, a celebration of assorted raw fish from clams and scampi to tuna and cuttlefish, a veritable feast of Mediterranean flavors. Main courses include out-of-this-world spaghetti alla chitarra with sea urchins and breaded black cod medallions. The meal concludes with a visit to the aptly named Temptation Room, lined with bright majolica tiles where a rich selection of sweets from the Neapolitan pastry tradition await: babà with rum, caprese cake, tarts and sfogliatelle.

Il Riccio Sea Lounge is one of the most beautiful terraces in Capri. The stunning location is open to both Capri Palace guests and customers of Il Riccio restaurant. Immersed in the beauty of the island’s white rocks, it is the perfect setting for an aperitif while admiring the Mediterranean sea that whispers sounds of happiness. Sunset marks the magical moment with music from a DJ set enlivening the scene.

Fontelina restaurant

Fontelina first opened in 1949 as small seaside restaurant: a simple place, where the catch of the day was cooked to perfection on the grill, the fire was always burning and where there was always a great pan of fish soup bubbling on the stove.

Today there might be a few more tables, a professional kitchen, and a straw-roofed pergola to shade customers as they eat, but the simple nature of the restaurant has remained the same.

Each day, chef Mario prepares a number of tempting off-menu treats, and fresh pasta served with flavoursome fish sauces and vegetables.

Classic, seafood favourites such as spaghetti with clams, fried paranza, and seafood salad are never missing from the menu. Providing the perfect accompaniment to your meal, there is an excellent selection of wines and, of course, Fontelina’s legendary iced sangria …
